Amy K. Coburn, University Architect & Director Planning, Design & Construction

Ms. Coburn serves at The University of New Mexico as University Architect and Director of Planning, Design & Construction providing strategic leadership for the institution’s capital and facility planning, architectural and development activities and leads project delivery for two-hundred million dollars of facility investment.  

Over her 30-year career, Amy has provided architectural visioning for large scale, design intensive, planned environments.  As Vice President of Planning and Design for Forest City Enterprises, she authored Albuquerque’s Mesa del Sol’s community public realm expression for this ambitious mixed-used master planned community. Amy has served as Vice President of Product Development for Pulte Homes in Las Vegas, NV and Associate Vice President for Development with Catellus Development in San Francisco.

Amy has practiced with several notable architectural firms, is a licensed architect and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University.  Amy is active in several professional organizations notably, Urban Land Institute New Mexico. Amy also serves on the Bosque School Board of Trustees.
