-

Katie Snapp, Owner, Better-Leadership Professional Development & Embedded Quality Professional at Sandia National Labs

Presentation Title: Human Factors: People Who Need People …. Like Facilities People

Summary:  Humans are at the heart of what we do in facilities. But somewhere in the crafting of the big picture, their fundamental needs can get lost in more “important” strategies. It’s not that our organizations don’t care about people, it’s that how our services directly impact their productivity and engagement gets lost in the conversation to senior leadership. Let’s find some key lessons in how to better bridge that gap.

-

Alfred Sena, Director, University of New Mexico Physical Plant

Presentation Title: Navigating the Facilities Management Maze

SUMMARY: This will be a look into what can be treacherous for facilities operations and performance practices that affect the bottom line. What to look for related to expenses.  What should an organization look for when contracting services?  Finding revenue through services and opportunities.

-

Tedd Ritter, Principal LMI360, Co-Founder of DrawAlert

Presentation Title: FM Service Management, Technology Essentials for Each Generation

Summary: It used to be that our challenges were in developing a single strategy to deploy client facing FM Technologies in the workplace. We have evolved and learned that we need optional methods of interaction with client facing technologies based both on generational preferences as well as sophistication levels of individual users. Furthermore, with the increasing mobile workforce equipped with a wide array of devices we also need to consider the form design of the device of the moment or choice of the individual user.

The decision parameters are further complicated by the need for high adoption levels by FM Professionals and their direct teams as well as their respective Vendor/Partner Communities.

This presentation will cover current trends, challenges and discuss what are best practices today based on relevant case studies and surveys.
